Do you have any unique methods to help you stay focused or keep you believing that good things are coming and that you know anything is possible? For me there are many of these things; however, one thing has become a routine. That is listening to the book “The Power” by Rhonda Byrne. This book is my go-to when I need reassurance that anything is possible.

Anything is Possible?

You might have heard the following sentence in a yoga class: This moment is the only moment that exists and matters. And it doesn’t matter, what you did on your practice last week, or what you are going to do tomorrow. Every one of your yoga practices is unique, and every practice dies in Savasana (=final relaxation) to reborn at that moment when we step onto our mats again.

If you think about this more, in the context of life, the situation is the same every day in our daily lives. We wake up in the morning to the new day, which is never exactly the same as the day before, and the day ends (=dies) when we close our eyes in the evening.

One day a few years ago, I was on my way to see my friend when one thought hit me hard. How incredibly wonderful it is to wake up to a new day, not knowing what it might bring to you? And above all, to realize that it is indeed a new day, and anything is possible. When I understood this fully, my first thought was: Wow! I must say, realizing this got me excited.

Anything is possible

Mindset is everything

Of course, things that life brings in front of us aren’t always positive or roseate, but even during those times, the same magic is still present. Anything is possible. The job you applied to, the one you didn’t get, might open you the possibility to get an even better job. Setbacks might help you find new ways to deal with things, fix problems, or they make you stronger.

The book “The Power” is telling about the same thing; anything is possible. The good and the bad, and you have the power to make a difference, whether it is good or bad. How? And this is the simplicity; everything depends on how you feel. Good feelings bring good circumstances into your life, and bad feelings do the opposite. When you manage to remain on the positive side in life, you draw positive things and situations into your life. It is all about the mindset. 

We cannot change the past or predict the future exactly, but we can be sure that at this moment, here and now, everything and anything is possible. If your day has a negative tone, try not to wrap yourself around that negative feeling; focus on the good, and the good will follow. Anything is possible, as long as you allow it. The key to infinite possibilities is this moment and how you feel now.
